Hi, we're Christine & Mary! 👋 

Two millennial moms, who share countless coffee refills, and one all-consuming obsession with spicy romantasy books. 

We met at work (surviving endless meetings and mom-life chaos) and quickly discovered we shared the same guilty pleasure: late nights devouring fantasy worlds full of enemies-to-lovers tension, morally grey men, and fierce heroines. Work wives turned book besties, we started dreaming about a way to spot our people out in the wild.

That’s how The Trope Shoppe was born—subtle, clever merch that looks good at brunch, school pick-up, or a coffee run, but still whispers romantasy to those who know. Because if you know, you know.

This shop isn’t just about cute hats and cozy crewnecks. It’s about community—the strangers who see your hat, smirk, and say, “Ah, another enemies to lovers girlie.”
